Description

This inter-professional presentation will address ethical considerations in rehabilitation care. The speaker will describe how ethical principles are applied to clinical practice, discuss common ethical dilemmas encountered by clinicians, and help the audience to identify resources that can be used to support ethical problem solving in clinical cases.

About the Presenter

Lynne Brady Wagner, MA, CCC-SLP, MRMC, HEC-C is the Chief Learning and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. Lynne chairs the Spaulding Ethics Advisory Committee and holds certifications as a healthcare ethics consultant and in medical rehabilitation management. She received her graduate degree in speech-language pathology from St. Louis University, earned a graduate certificate in Medical Ethics at Rush University Medical Center and a fellowship at the McLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago. Lynne was the inaugural Disability Ethics Fellow at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and has served on ASHA's Council on Professional Ethics and Board of Ethics. She was awarded Fellowship of ASHA in 2023.
