This dynamic training co-led by Dr. Elizabeth Doppler-Bourassa Ph.D. and Annie DiVello M.S.,CCC-SLP;M.Ed., provides school teams with a how-to guide for the interventions & collaboration between the “brave voice teacher” & the “feelings teacher” for students with SM. There is a section in the registration process for you to let me know of any special needs or accommodations that you may require. Please feel free to reach out to me before registering if you have any questions regarding this. At least two weeks notice prior to a scheduled event is needed for special accommodations. All requests will be thoroughly considered and met if at all possible.

Learner Objectives:

  • Write one goal the “brave voice teacher” might target
  • Write one goal the “feelings teacher” might target
  • Explain the need for collaboration between the “brave voice teacher” and “feelings teacher”
  • List three ways to move beyond stuck points in the process
